Great Apart for Rent in Golden Mile Building, Palm Jumeirah is the smallest of the projected three Palm Islands; Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira being the other two and is located on the coastal area of Jumeirah Beach, just before the Marina. This project was completed in 2007. It is a man-made island which was built in the shape of palm tree. All of the Shoreline buildings are named after different types of dates, such as Sultana, Khudrawi etc. The Palm Jumeirah consists of three parts; the trunk, fronds and Crescent and extends 6.5 kilometers into the Arabian Gulf. The trunk and fronds of the island are surrounded by a 12 kilometer long Crescent which works as a water breaker around the island and enables the structure to withstand waves of up to 4 meters high. Construction of the project was planned in order to not disrupt nature and the environment and is currently the world’s largest man-made island covering 560 hectares of land. Palm Jumeirah is the first project of Palm Island that was completed in 2007 and is known to provide outstanding accommodation to many different nationalities. The island is in close proximity to the main coast of Dubai, making it easy for residents to access shopping malls and various other facilities. Besides being a premier tourism ‘Hub’, the Palm is also considered as the eighth wonder of the world.
